Seat 1: Oliver Grujic, Canberra, ACT - 281,000 chips
Oliver Grujic is a 23-year old from Canberra who brings a quiet demeanour but a steely resolve to the poker table. He's been playing for four years, primarily as a cash game player, as he learnt the ropes with friends at University. This will be Oliver's first major tournament result.
Oliver was responsible for the elimination of Team PokerStars Pro Tony Hachem and from there worked his way to the final table as one of our short stacks.
Seat 2: Jeff Rossiter, Adelaide, South Australia - 383,000 chips
We hadn't heard much of Jeff Rossiter until just last month when a herculean run in the Aussie Millions Main Event saw him finish in third place for a $700,000 score. Jeff is proving that was no fluke with another final table to his credit here at the ANZPT.

Seat 3: John Apostolidis, Melbourne, Victoria - 255,000 chips
John Apostolidis kept his cards close to his chest when filling out his bio sheet, only letting us know that he's a 40-year old Company Director who has been playing for around two and a half years.
A quick look at his tournament record shows a handful of tournament cashes in tournaments at Crown Casino, but this will be the biggest result of his career. John enters the final table as the short stack with 255,000 chips.
Seat 4: Charles Caris, Australia - 846,000 chips
Charles Caris is a Pharmacist by trade who has been playing different forms of poker for most of his life with buddies in his home game, but credits the influence of the Great Dane, Gus Hansen, for sparking his interest in No Limit Holdem. Caris might only have two other tournament cashes in Australia, but he does have a significant result to his credit with a 14th place in the WPT Five Diamond Classic early in December where he pocketed US$42,231.
Outside of poker, Caris is an avid stamp collector and enjoys Scrabble and trivia.
Caris got his tournament going on Day 3 when his pocket jacks won a monster pot on a ten-high flop and from there he continued to accumulate to end the day as one of the big stacks.
Seat 5: Ian Parnell, Sydney, New South Wales (PokerStars Qualifier) - 289,000 chips

Ian has been playing for two years and already has one ANZPT and one APPT cash to his credit with his best result coming at last year's APPT Auckland event where he finished 13th.
Ian was battling for hours on day one with only a few thousand chips, but managed to recover and then surge to the chip lead late on Day 3 when he spiked a two-outer. He'll enter the final table as one of the short stacks with 289,000 chips.
Seat 6: Danny Chevalier, Melbourne, Victoria - 500,000 chips

Octavian Voegele is a 25-year old Austrian who now resides on the Gold Coast. He has been playing poker for six years after starting the game with friends in the local pub poker leagues. He's come a long way since those days.
Voegele has an impressive resume, both online and live. We first discovered Octavian in this same event last year. Two preliminary event final tables were followed by a third place in the ANZPT Adelaide Main Event for a $59,600 collect. His online record is even better, highlighted by a 4th place finish in the PokerStars SCOOP-M Main Event for a whopping US$211,312 win.
Voegele has been a dominant figure throughout this event, and single-handedly destroyed everything in his path to ensure a rapid-fire day three. He ended the day as the only player above the one million chip mark and will be hard to stop as the chip leader when the final table get underway.
